Thanks a lot, I've tried your patch from cvs and vlc doesn't crash. But 
aspect isn't ok. I don't think the stream is bad - mplayer gets aspect 
correctly from it (mplayer prints: "Movie-Aspect is 1,33:1 - prescaling 
to correct movie aspect").
