Hello VideoLAN Team

I downloaded VLC both for Debian (stable) Linux & for Windows.

For some reason the audio is choppy in the Linux version. The MPEG-2 decode
seems fine.
I am running KDE. 

Any suggestions as to why the audio doesn't work?

I downloaded the Windows version and it seems OK, however, the audio cut-out
right in the middle of the clip.

Any ideas on that?
