[vlc] Query

Dear Sir,

I am using Vlc-0.7.0 in Linux OS for streaming the
video.

I am able to run the VLC in the foreground and it is
worknig fine. Most of the linux have 7 tty session. If
i'm streaming to a client it occupies the entire
session.

If i am able to run the VLC as a background process,
so that i can stream to "N" ppl with single linux
session.

How to run the vlc in the background process? if i put
the "&' at the last and put enter, the process got
stopped.

Please help to me sort the problem.
