[vlc] what about damaged cd/dvd

Hello,
VLC is great, since have almost all codecs...

A question to make VLC even better:

VLC when reading divx from a cd or dvd, if the cd is damaged in some
area, the movie stops playing there... Is there a way to VLC detect this
and jump that bad sector, and we continue seeing the movie, (without
that 1-2 seconds)
