[vlc] slow motion

Hi there!
 
Well, I'm using VLC on a Pentium 166MMx and having 16Mb RAM.
What is happening is that while watching a videos, the films play in a slow motion way.
 
I would like to know where is the problem.
Thanks in advance for providing some solutions.
