[vlc] Live stream for nonprofit organization

Hello All, I am very new to this so will have many questions maybe? Just for
a start I am planning to do a live feed over the internet for a national
convention for a non-profit org. My first question is will my ATI 9600
All-in-Wonder capture and send a live stream (ok I am stupid at this moment
if this helps but I am a great learning tool)? Question 2 does a notebook
with a P3 1 gig processor and 512megs of ram have enough power to feed
wirelessly my server a stable feed (I need to move room to room)? I have
just started this project trying to do it for free and am I over my head in
this attempt? All my machines run WINXP Pro.
