[vlc] visualizer filter

Hello,

Can someone give an example of the command line syntax to use the
visualizer filter. I cannot get it working with vlc-0.8.0-test2
I am trying:
vlc --filter visual --effect-width 400 udp://@239.4.5.6:1234
and I get:
[00000243] main video output error: no video filter module matched
"visual"
[00000243] main video output error: no suitable vout module
[00000243] main video output error: cannot delete object (243, (null))
with children
[00000241] main decoder error: failed to create video output
