[vlc] Transcode problem

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to transcode a network stream 
(for example a one sent via vls)  into a raw  stream.  I have tried to 
use the 'output options' in the  vlc graphical menu, but  there is no 
possibility of  specifying a raw  transcode option.  'Raw' is only an 
option as  encapsulation method, not as transcode method.
The idea behind obtaining raw video is to emulate an  input  video 
capture device.

Any ideas?
