1 April 2005:  Release: VLC 0.8.1337 (April Fool's)

Joke's on me:  I downloaded and installed it.  After fixing
the locale gibberish, I am now running it as an IMPROVEMENT
over 0.8.2 or 0.7.2.

Just keep fooling around!
