[vlc] Simple method for installing vlc in fedora core 2

hi all,

i successfully install vlc in freebsd without much 
effort. freebsd did everything for me. But i have
many dpendency problems while installing vlc on 
linux fedora core 2 . Do you people have any simple
idea for installing vlc in fedcore2? i tried yum
but i dont know which repository to use. pls give
me some idea that worked for u.
