[vlc] Select UDP as transport

Hi All,

it is possible with VLC to stream from a Windows Server to the videolan
client.  But Is it possible, like with windows media player, to select the
transport protocol (MMS chooses TCP but I want UDP)?

any help on this one would be very much appreciated!
