[vlc] Re: Transcode Mpeg2 to Mpeg4 ? - Follow Up Question

Now I want to use VLC to transcode MPEG files in the background.  How can I 
use vlc to run in batch mode, process a file, then exit.  I 
tried --play-and-stop, but that didn't do what I wanted.
