[vlc] authentication issue

Hi All.

 

I'm trying to connect to an authenticated server that is streaming an
ASF content (wmv/wma).

 

My questions are:

 

1.	Is authentication is supported in the RTSP or MMS modules?
2.	If it does what kinds are supported (NTLM, Negotiate, Basic,
Digest.)?
3.	If it is not, is it going to be supported any time soon?
4.	In the LIVE.COM module Digest and Basic authentication is
mentioned, does anyone know if it actually works?
5.	In the MMS module it is documented the "id/password" is not
supported, is there any work done in this area?
6.	Could anyone suggest hoe to enable "Negotiate" authentication ?
