[vlc] sattelite steam output from a windows computer

Hi,

I want to watch sattelite over linux but the problem is the sattelite
card is plugged into a windows installed computer. I know that, over
linux vlc can steam a dvb channel but is this also possible for windows?
I have 54 Mbps bandwidth network between computers so there should be no
problem about the speed.
