I'm streaming from a file.
What I've done is the following:
1) transcode my .ts (mpeg2, ts) file to a (mp4v, asf) file
2) stream the asf file to a multicast address

But the GUI only authorizes to stream by finaly encapsulating to TS.
Does it mean it transports TS packets over IP ?
Could we directly stream the ASF payload onto IP without the TS
encapsulation overhead ?

Thanks
