Well, invalidating a patent has to be made in court. That requires a lot
of time and a lot of money. Furthermore, in the current state, I don't
think the situation of software patent is so clear in Europe, and I
don't think a patent has already been invalidated for the unique reason
it was a software one (somebody corrects me if I'm wrong, I'm far
from being a specialist of the subject). The future european directive
will hopefully make things clearer, in a direction or in the other...
