[vlc] pleaes help with VLC installation error

[JIE XIONG]

please help..
i can use synaptic to install .but can not play video..only audio
i am using FC3 kernel 2.6.8.1

if i run the vlc installed by synaptic and play a video .mpeg, the
following error comes :
[00000286] mpeg_audio decoder: MPGA channels:2 samplerate:44100 bitrate:128
Segmentation fault

then i download from vlc website the binary one for FC3 and install
,the following error comes, please help..
