To fix the no video situation I've rebuilt the videolan rpm from source
with the newest version available, this seems to work!
I'm starting vlc like this video works great but I have no audio, I
receive audio input from my line-in and cannot seem to find any
documentation as to how i may achieve audio streaming from the line in.
DISPLAY=:0 vlc -vvv --color
v4l:/dev/video0:norm=pal:size=640x480:channel=1:adev=/dev/dsp:audio=1
--sout
'#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,acodec=mpga,vb=3000,ab=256,venc=ffmpeg{keyint=80,hurry-up,vt=800000},deinterlace}:std{access=http,mux=ts,url=192.168.1.1:1080}' --ttl 12
Any assistance is greatly appreciated
