[vlc] Re: Debian instructions wrong?

It seems that Packages.gz in 
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian/dists/sarge/main/binary-i386/
is corrupted ou empty.
A dirty workaround is to download these files:
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian/i386/libdvdcss2_1.2.8-1_i386.deb
http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian/i386/libdvdcss2-dev_1.2.8-1_i386.deb
And then to do (as root):
dpkg -i libdvdcss2_1.2.8-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i libdvdcss2-dev_1.2.8-1_i386.deb
