[vlc] Could someone help with this build error?

I'm trying to build from subversion on OSX and I get the following build error:

mike-thomsens-powerbook-g4-12:~/cvs/vlc/trunk mikethomsen$ make
make: *** No rule to make target `include/vlc_symbols.h', needed by
`stamp-api'.  Stop.
