Thanks Antoine, Just downloaded build of June 7, but still same  
issue, unusable on osx ! When I run program from Terminal, here is  
output:

PowerBook-G4-17:/Volumes/vlc-0.8.2-test2/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS vincen 
$ ./VLC
