[vlc] could'nt receive mpeg2 ts streams from arm7tdmi based kit

I am trying to stream mpeg2ts files from an arm7tdmi based kit which
uses uclinux
On the client side i am capturing using vlc. All the packets are
received by the client but vlc could'nt play back the files.The
packets are captured using ethereal.could somebody say the reason why
vlc is unable to play?
