[vlc] Trouble with latest version of the player

Hi, I've updated to version 0.8.1, but since then, I get no video output. My
previous version gave me video and audio with no problem. However, now I only
get audio. I've also dabbled with upgrading codecs, but with no success.
Strangely, the same avi and mpeg files that I can no longer play on VLC still
play on my other media players.

Can you help?
