[vlc] Re: Failed with exit status:1 while compiling VLC code

Why still can't be compiled?  ~~^o^~~
I've 
1. used "Install" cygwin from all the Cygnew/ created by the
CygwinEnvironment.zip.
2. "tar xjvf contrib-20050209-win32-bin-gcc3.3.1-only.tar.tar -C /" 
3. execute "../config_setup"
Could it be my machine's problem?
