[vlc] usability suggestions

Hi

Please implement 2 small features which would improve usability:

1. When opening a file for play, automatically add subtitle if it
matches the video file name. 
e.g.
open "test video.avi"
if "test video.(txt|srt|sub)" exists, add it as a subtitle
automatically.
mplayer works this way.

2. remember the last directory used to open a video file, rather than
having the initial directory always in home dir.
If the last directory doesn't exist anymore (e.g. was on a CD which was
umounted), then use home.
