[vlc] ffmpeg on hardware

Hi,
I'm using VLC to multicast TV channel over a LAN. The load on the PC is high. So we're trying to offload some of the processing to a DSP card. We have the TI DSP 6201EVM and the analog devices BF533 EZkit with us. Is it possible to interface VLC to any of these cards?
