No, the bug is still there. You can clearly notice it with SRT files.

After a while subs just seem to disappear. They are displayed at the 
correct time, but removed from displaying WAY too early. After roughly 
5 mins the (starttime - stoptime ) is half of what it should be and 5 
mins later most subs don't appear at all anymore.

It's a known issue. i'm still unsure as to the cause though.
