[vlc] main audio output error: couldn't find a filter for the conversion

hi,everybody
i met trouble with complie the vlc in linux.
i want to play mp3 or other audio file.i can not hear anything.
i have use the
a52dec-0.7.4,faad2-20040923,ffmpeg-20041113,lame-3.96,libdvdcss-1.2.8
,libmad-0.15.1b,libogg-1.1,libvorbis-1.0.1,mpeg2dec-0.4.0 etc.
do i need anyother package?

the errors is:

trying to add 1.mp3 to playlist
add: returned 0 (no error)
[00000169] mpeg_audio packetizer: MPGA channels:2 samplerate:44100
bitrate:160
[00000170] mpeg_audio decoder: MPGA channels:2 samplerate:44100 bitrate:160
[00000171] main audio output error: couldn't find a filter for the
conversion
[00000171] main audio output error: couldn't set an input pipeline

what's that means?
can anyone help me?
