[vlc] Re: File Extensions

Use the operating system tools.  In Windows, for instance, I can right-click
myfile.mpg, then select Open With  -- Choose Program.  Do a browse to find
vlc.exe, select it, and check the "Always use the selected program..." box.

Other OS' have similar functions.

Is there a way to associate file extensions to VLC player?

Installer asks which extensions are to be associated but I couldn't find how
to do that after installation.
