[vlc] VLC and Mac OS X 10.4

Dear Ladies and Gentleman,
 
any news if and when an updated player for Mac OS X 10.4 might be
available??
 
I have to take my son on an 8 hour airplane ride form Alaska to Europe
and thought my Powerbook could keep him quite when playing his favorite
Region 2 movies. :-)
