[vlc] The Navigation Slider

Hello. I'm a great fan of the VLC media player, but it does have one major
frustration.
VLC, like all media players has a navigation slider so the user can manipulate
where in the file to play. This can either be done by clicking and dragging
the navigation slider button or by clicking somewhere along the navigation
slider where the button is not. (This is just to make sure I am communicating
properly without the correct terminology.)
In VLC, when the user clicks (no dragging) along the navigation slider where the
navigation slider button is not, VLC does not resume playing at the point the
place was clicked. Instead, VLC resumes playing at a fixed interval away from
where the slider was. This frustrates me.
I find it much more useful for the navigation slider to act like Windoes Media
Player (and WMP classic). With those applications, when the user clicks on a
certain place on the navigation slider, the media player resumes playing at the
part of the file where the person clicked along the navigation slider.
I hope this goes into consideration in your next version,
Jacob Egner
