We need more clues! Your sentences got a little scrambled as well which 
is a little confusing. In what way is the sound mixed up? AVI is a 
"container", are you comparing liek fiels?  Are the other AVI files from 
the same source? What "other" units do the other AVI file play on. Are 
you using VLC for all these files. Please spell it out more comprehensively.
