[vlc] vlc0.8.2 and dvbpsi problem

Greetings,

In an attempt to install vlc-0.8.2 from sources, i stumbled across a problem 
with  a prior installation of libdvbpsi.    The details are in the attached 
file.  Strangely libdvbpsi compiled previously without problems.  (The 
machine  is a PC-machine runnig Linux kernel 2.6.14 gcc 3.4.3)  For a useable 
installation of libdvbpsi/vlc;    helpful suggestions will be gratfull 
received.
