[vlc] Commandline and Windows XP

Hi!
I have a problem with the VLC-Commandline.
So - how can I get state-information of running VLC with the commandline 
under Windows XP.
The documentation says a lot, but nothing of that really does it right.
In detail I need:
- Information about current played Item (playtime, whole time, id3-fields)
- Information about playlist-state (items, itemcount, shuffle, loop),
- status of VLC in general (Volume, Equalizer, ...).

Can anybody help?
