[vlc] gcc-4.1 compiling fix

Hi,

I use this patch against trunk to silence the "extra qualification" error 
messages produced by gcc-4.1 (OpenSuSE 10.1 beta...) . I don't know if this 
is right, but maybe someone can take a lock at it (and commit).
