Hi,
I'm not being able to use the DIV3 codec in vlc
running under linux. It says that it cannot find the
encoder. I have tried to look at ffmpeg and vlc
documentations in order to find some install
configuration, but without any success.
I have configured ffmpeg (version 20051126) as the
following:
./configure --enable-pp --enable-faad --enable-faac
--enable-a52 --enable-gpl --enable-mp3lame
and my vlc is configurated as the following:
./configure --enable-livedotcom --enable-v4l
--enable-faad --enable-a52 --enable-aa
--with-livedotcom-tree=/usr/local/src/live/
--with-ffmpeg-mp3lame --with-ffmpeg-faac
--with-ffmpeg-tree=/usr/local/src/ffmpeg-20051126/
--disable-mad
both are compiled successfully. Then, I issue the
following command, under linux:
vlc -vvv --rt-priority rtsp://143.107.231.226/main.sdp
--noaudio --sout
"#transcode{vb=500,threads=2,vt=500000,vcodec=DIV3,scale=0.5}:std{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,url=:8080}"
which gives me an error saying that ffmpeg could not
find msmpeg4 encoder...
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?
Thanks very much!
