[vlc] firefox 1.5 and vlc mozilla plugin

hello!
I am trying to use the mozilla plugin to create a simple html page that
gets input from a vlc stream!I try to implement the example there is on
the streaming manual but thing doesn't seem to work out on firefox!on
the contrary the stream plays fine with mozilla!So i would like to ask
if there's a known bug with vlc and firefox?I am using a linux debian
unstable, firefox 1.5 and vlc 0.8.4!
