[vlc] Question on Transcoding to Mp4

When I transcode to mpeg4 and place in an mp4 container the audio and
video work on VLC but no audio will play on other players like
QuickTime. Any one know how to fix this? VLC is 0.8.4. Transcode
settings video: 2048 mpeg 4/ audio 192 mpeg4/ container mp4.
