I have been reading this doc. I would not ask a mailing list for advice if I had not yet checked the documentation.  Maybe I missed it.

Despite the fact that VLC is a wonderful piece of software, it has the most complex command line syntax and very thin documentation.....

Well, the streaming wizard should already allow to do this. Anyway, I
advise you to read the documentation (the streaming howto particularly).
