i tried this, but it does not work. the device name splits at the space.
just "Hauppauge" will be recognized.
Thanks to Gregor Fuis. Very good work around is to start vlc with the
command line option --dshow-vdev="Hauppauge WinTV Capture" and then
control vlc by the telnet interface. it is also possible to control two
different cards on windows, by starting two vlc instances on different
telnet-ports.
