[vlc] help me

I use vlc to stream tv channel from video capture card (tv tuner) and I use
debian sarge 3.1r0 with kernel 2.4-k6.
Client can receive video but audio is not

v4l-vdev=/dev/video
v4l-adev=/dev/dsp

anybody on here have try stream tv channel from video capture card with
debian or linux family..?
