[vlc] a few questions

I have a few problems with the VLC player :

I use a labtop with an extern 19" monitor.
On my labtop screen movies run fine,
when I move the player to the extern monitor,
the movies stand still, aduio continues normal.

I don´t have this phenomena with any other player.

Sometimes I close VLC and the sound of a movie doesn´t quit,
but I find nothing in the XP taskmanager to kill it.

I miss some functions I really like on irfan view,
but sadly my codecs and system are a bit messed
and VLC is the player right now for me, that manages
a lot of movies, that my other players can´t play anymore.

I miss the copy and move functions of irfan and I miss the
function to jump to the next movie and I don´t find in the
options how to switch to opening only 1 window and not many.
