[vlc] Linux VLC 8.5 question??

Hi,

I have VLC 8.5 both in windows and linux(FC5) machine. I am trying to 
stream the TV from captured card in my windows machine.

My problem is:

1. When video only is transcoded and streamed, linux based client can 
receive and playback nicely.
2. But when video and audio are both transcoded, linux client terminates 
instantly while windows clients can playback  the same stream nicely.

What could be the problem? where to look for the log?
