Hello,

Tried it an got a different error...

+ AUTOMAKESUCKS=no
+ INSTALLSUCKS=no
+ ACLOCAL_ARGS=-I m4
+ test -d extras/contrib/bin
+ rm -f m4/autoconf260.m4
++ autoconf --version
++ head -1
+ echo 'Hey, your autoconf is quite old. Update it.'

+ exit 1


MinGW has autoconf version 2.56.

What does VLC need?  2.6?

(And if so, is there an easy of updating this?  Or should I prepare for
dependency hell :-)  )
