[vlc] cannot load module libffmpeg_plugin.so

Hello list!

I've compiled the latest ffmpeg and afterwards the latest VLC
from SVN.
If I start VLC it states that it can't load the ffmpeg-plugin
because of an undefined symbol 'sws_freeFilter'.
What's wrong? I didn't see any errors during the compilation.
