[vlc] hauppauge hardware recommendation + vlc as upnp server

hi all,

can someone please tell me which model of  hauppauge is best for vlc --
i have a coax cable as input and need to stream a tv station (would be
great if i could stream more than one ...)

that leads me to the second question -- can vlc stream to a upnp
client ??
