[vlc] Question on MP4S

I am getting and error when running vlc-0.9.0:
[00000282] main playlist error: Reloading playlist not implemented.
Remote control interface initialized. Type `help' for help.
[00000298] main decoder error: no suitable decoder module for fourcc `MP4S'.
VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.


What do I need to decode MP4S???

My config is:
export FFMPEG_PATH=/home/silentm/ffmpeg/
