[vlc] VLC Resume Option?

hi there
is there any way you guys could implement a resume-option into vlc à la
apple frontrow?
i often watch movies in vlc but then finish watching at a later time and
wish there was a resume option in vlc so that i don't have to search for the
right spot on the timeline.
