[vlc] VLM telnet interface closes connection when using Windows

Hi all,

I have tried to launch a VLM telnet interface in Windows XP and Vista as
explained in the Videolan "How to Stream" section but when I try to connect
with the telnet command and the host and port parameters the window asking
for the password appears and a "connection closed" window message suddenly
appears, without allowing to enter any password.

I have tried to do it with a telnet client software like PuTTy and it fails
the same way.

Does anybody know how to solve this issue or how should I proceed in order
to launch VLM properly in a Windows environment? I've tested it in an Ubuntu
Linux system and it works perfectly.
