You may need check the MKV demuxer source code , VLC does not support
seeking for some types media such as FLAC , AAC.

Hi,

    Do you notice that MKV files can't seek in 0.8.6C and 0.8.6D?
    Actually, I found that if your PC booted for 32mins, than you can seek
to 32mins.
